The Challenge

Kinsale Spirit is an Irish distillery based in the heart of the vibrant town of Kinsale in Co. Cork.

Beginning as a boutique distillery with a home-grown product inspired by the spirit of its birthplace, the business quickly grew to become a passionate brand with a global ambition.

With an expansion of products on the horizon, the brand wanted to target a global market and recognised their website as the vehicle which would power their long-term growth strategy.

Kinsale Spirit approached Egg Design to redesign their outdated e-commerce website to include a fast and secure modern online shop as well as new engaging content streams that would allow them to bring their products to a global market in a compelling way.

The Solution

Egg Design got to work with the team at Kinsale Spirt straight away, collaborating together to build a newly designed custom website that would engage a global audience and represent their growing brand.

The result was a secure and modern online shop combining the WooCommerce platform with a specialised sales strategy, taking into consideration the brand’s global deliveries of variable products, including complex shipping rates.

Additional content streams were also developed to include a recipes section as well as other outlets for videos and imagery, to give the brand the opportunity to share their journey with their followers and increase brand loyalty.

Ongoing support and maintenance of the site was fundamental to the growth of the brand’s e-commerce business and Egg Design is happy to be currently working with the team on building and designing a UK and USA version of the site, tailored to support further expansion in these markets.
