The Challenge
Active Disability Ireland are a national pan-disability organisation committed to creating an Ireland where people with disabilities have more opportunity to participate in physical activity of their choice.
They understand the power of physical activity, how it enables health, happiness and growth and they will help foster a fairer society where these benefits are more accessible for all people with disabilities.
In 2023, Egg Design worked with Active Disability Ireland (previous Cara Centre) to update their current website with a fresh new brand they had developed.
The Solution
Egg Design has worked closely with Active Disability Ireland over a number of years to grow its reach and offer an accessible, professional web presence.
In 2018, Egg Design worked to revamp their previous website from scratch utilising the WordPress platform. The project involved the importation of 100s of pages of content as well as the integration of an events system and online application forms, resources, videos etc.
As Cara Centre has now rebranded as Active Disability Ireland we recently helped them update the existing website to reflect this and changed the domain name also and resolved the issues that arose from that.
It was important that the new website was accessible for those with disabilities and using our expertise in building WCAG-compliant accessible websites we helped the charity achieve this.
As a charity, we are also offering them free ongoing support an maintenance.
